Zlob Modular Trepanator

The Trepanator, a 14hp analog experimental VCO from Zlob Modular—a machine imbued with chaotic spirit, bending voltage into snarling, gurgling, and hissing electronic life. Inspired by Rob Hordijk's Benjolin but wholly its own beast, it weaves together dual VCOs, a difference rectifier, a state-variable filter, and a self-oscillating 3-band EQ into an internalized feedback maelstrom. No need for external audio—turn a knob, push a fader, and it sputters, shrieks, and loops like a circuit-bent modem possessed by the ghost of shortwave radio. For anyone looking to be inspired by your machine, the Trepanator from Zlob is a wonderfully mad choice.
