Run in either stereo or dual mono, the MAX gives you the exceptional sound of a classic 1176 FET powered compressor, LA-2A tube-style compression, or a classic Dyna Comp in an incredibly compact housing. Mix and match thanks to the two discrete channels so you can have two separate tracks recorded, one stereo track with the same or different compressor flavors, for weird stereo effects, or stack the two by going directly from the output of one to the input of two. Universal Audio has some of the best compressors—hardware and software—and you get the best of both with their MAX pedal.
