The Tascam DP-008EX is a portable battery-powered multi-track recorder, ready to capture your ideas wherever they strike. It features eight total tracks with two tracks available to be recorded at a time. The inputs include both TS 1/4" for line level and XLR inputs with phantom power for microphones. Input one also features a High-Z option, allowing you to record guitars and basses directly. A pair of omni-directional condenser microphones are available on the front of the DP-008EX, great for recording acoustic instruments.

Each of the eight tracks features independent level, pan, and send. Add more dimension to your sounds with the built-in equalizer and reverb with per-track send. The DP-008EX features battery life up to nine hours and is portable enough to go with you anywhere, allowing you to record whenever or wherever you are.
