Strymon's Iridium is an amp-modeling pedal that gives you access to the tone of three classic amps and nine cabs. It uses Strymon's Matrix Modeling process and Impulse Response Technology to faithfully recreate the sounds of the original circuits. The Round Amp is based on the Fender Deluxe Reverb, which is bright, clean, mid-scooped, and provides plenty of headroom. The Chime amp is based on the Vox AC30TB which is bright and chime-y, and defined the guitar sound of the British Invasion. The Punch amp is based on the Marshall Plexi, which features rich and smooth overdrive, and at high setting provides lots of grit and texture. It even goes above the maximum gain allowed on the Plexi for high gain tones. The included cabs are Deluxe Reverb 1x12", Blues Junior 1x12", Vibrolux 2x10", AC30 2x12", Alnico 1x12", Mesa 4x12", GNR 4x12", Vintage 30 2x12", and Marshall 8x12". There are controls for bass, middle, and treble EQing, as well as drive, level, and room; which provides natural room ambience with three adjustable room sizes. The FAV footswitch recalls a stored preset which includes all knob and switch settings. There is stereo in and out, as well as a USB input for load different impulse responses using the Strymon Impulse Manager software.
