The return of an iconic pedal: JHS has reintroduced the ROSS Compressor, one of the most beloved dynamics effect pedals of all time. Housed in the familiar grey box enclosure of the most sought-after original, the ROSS Compressor is an OTA-based compressor with a distinctly vintage, gooey flavor. It pairs marvelously well with guitar, imparting sustain on leads and punch on funky chord vamps. JHS took the opportunity to add modern appointments such as improved noise floor and soft touch footswitches. But notably, the addition of a Standard / Bright Mode switch on the side offers a bit of extra versatility to this classic compressor circuit.
