Roland adds the powerful and dreamy sound of the JX-8P to the Boutique collection in the form of the JX-08, with the wonderful capabilities of the PG-800 built right in. JX-08 takes all the amazing features of its predecessors and modernizes them with solid USB audio, fantastic performance and production tools, and so much more. Roland's Zen-Core sound engine replicates the two DCOs of the JX-8P and their ability to sync, cross-modulate, mix separately, and run into a stellar filter section with separate low and high pass controls. You can modulate most parameters via the three-shape LFO with delay time or the two ADSR envelopes with selectable, time-based key-following.

The JX-08 offers extended polyphony compared to the original 6-voice architecture of the JX-8P, as well as bi-timbrality that can be triggered simultaneously or independently via the Dual/Split modes. With the flexible two-part sequencer, you can record up to four notes on each of the 64 steps to get basslines, leads, keys, and pads grooving together. Additionally, you can also add motion-recorded controls to your sequences for lively and breathing patches, or even utilize an external clock input to add interest to how your sequence plays back. The effects section is expanded with 17 fantastic effects, including the sounds of the JUNO-106 choruses and SD-320 reverb with dedicated activation buttons.
