Novation Launchpad X

Launchpad X from Novation is a powerful MIDI controller intended for use with Ableton Live. The 64 RGB pads are velocity and pressure sensitive and provide instant feedback into what clips are active, allowing for expressive and dynamic control over the session. It frees you from the constraints of the keyboard and mouse and allows for hands-on control. Dynamic note and scale modes automatically quantize the pads for easy playback of in-key melodies and basslines. Four custom modes allow for mapping of Launchpad to any available MIDI parameter. The one-touch Capture MIDI control records MIDI so you never lose an idea. Easily set levels, pans, and sends as well as mute, solo, stop, and record arm individual tracks on the fly.

The Launchpad X comes with a whole host of software including Ableton Live Lite, XLN Addictive Keys, Softube Time and Tone bundle, AAS Session Bundle. And as of firmware version 2.0, up to eight different Custom Mode keystrokes may be assigned through Novation Components, putting essential DAW shortcuts and functions at your fingertips while you're creating.
