Paul Cochrane's original drive pedal is beloved by many, and so by partnering with MXR to produce a new version of the Timmy overdrive, this modern classic pedal is available to more players than ever before. There's a wide range of tones to be found in the Timmy, which is perhaps one of the reasons that so many people have used it as part of their sound!

Despite being housed in a mini pedal enclosure, expect no sacrifices in tone from this version of Timmy. Its Level and Gain controls can be used to dial in anything from transparent boost to creamy medium gain tones—great for stacking drives or pushing your amp a little bit harder. The Bass and Treble controls work how you'd expect, but are implemented in a rather novel way by cutting away low or high frequencies before and after the overdrive circuit, respectively. For even more variation, try exploring the three different Clip modes, which provide various flavors of symmetrical or asymmetrical clipping and saturation.

Pedalboards of all sizes can find room for this tiny Timmy—it might be small in size, but it's capable of some mammoth tones.
