The MD-004 from Mnemonic Devices is a quantizer expander for the MD-001 Juniper, bringing well tempered modulation to the powerful CV generator and processor. In just 4HP, Tonic provides a compact keyboard spanning a single octave, as well as buttons for shift functions and transposition. In conjunction with Juniper's potent palette of CV generation, Tonic helps create complex and ear-catching arpeggios and other stepped CV patterns.

Transposition is optimized for live performance, and supports transpositions from one to seven semi-tones and an octave. Furthermore, transpositions of your selected quantization scheme can be either chromatic or diatonic. For maximum flexibility and speed in performance, the live mode allows instant shifts by any amount of semitones. If you have a MD-001 Juniper already, the MD-004 Tonic adds a ton of new ways to use this already immensely powerful modulation hub.
