Mastro Valvola LFO
LFO from Mastro Valvola is an optical tremolo pedal that uses optoisolators controlled by a digital modulation source. Set both the depth and speed of the LFO for a classic-sounding valve amplifier behavior. Higher modulation depths usually require a higher output volume, set by a dedicated control. A tap-tempo footswitch acts as a second frequency control. Three selectable note divisions set the range of the LFO or a division of the tap tempo.
The digital modulation source features 16 waveforms to select from, arranged in two banks of eight waveforms. These range from sine waves to triangle stepped to random slopes and levels, giving you a wealth of modulation possibilities. Further alter the waveforms using the symmetry control to affect the duty cycle of the waveform. LFO takes the relatively simple concept of a valve tremolo and brings it to new levels with a powerful modulation source.
