Keeley Magnetic Echo

The Magnetic Echo is a tape echo/delay pedal that utilizes a delay circuit in tandem with just the right amount of modulation to adeptly simulate tube-style tape echo sounds. Unlike other tape echoes, the Mag-Echo imparts a bit of Lo-Fi delay alongside a filtered echo response to achieve its unique form of delay.

Front panel controls consist of Delay Time, Delay Level, and Regen. Delay Time dictates the overall length between repeats; anywhere between 40ms and 600ms. It is ideal for vintage, medium length delay sounds like slap-back. The total number of repeats is governed by the Regen knob. It can be configured anywhere between a single slap-back echo all the way to self-oscillating echoplexes. Unique sonic constellations can be achieved when using Regen in tandem with the aforementioned Time control. The final parameter, Delay Level, controls the overall echo volume.

If all that wasn’t enough, both Depth and Rate feature Wow and Flutter controls. These added parameters open the door to chorusing and pitch shifting functionality. Give those echoes the modulation they deserve!
