Exquis (pronounced "hex-key") from Intuitive Instruments is an MPE-enabled MIDI controller and app that delivers a fresh approach to expressive musical performance, perfect for both jamming on the go or composing in studio. LED-backlit hexagonal keys are arranged in a proprietary layout that makes playing notes that sound good together easy, with thirds stacked from bottom to top and chromatic increments left to right (though as of firmware V2.0, you can define up to eight different custom note layouts). Responsive MPE capability lets you add modulation and texture to chords and an organic instrumental feel to melodies and rhythms.
