The 8010A studio monitor from Genelec packs high quality sound and unparalleled frequency response into an extremely compact 3" body. The 8010A is a bi-amplified monitor with a 120mm speaker, and several attenuation options for adjusting its output to whatever best suits your environment. In addition to the standard power mode, the 8010A features Genelec's ISS AutoStart function, which puts the monitor into a low-power 0.5 watt standby mode, leaving it to indefinitely anticipate an incoming signal. Once it detects a signal, it will automatically switch into full-power mode, switching back into standby once playback has ended. The 8010A also offers a Sensitivity adjustment switch, acting as a -10dB cut across all frequencies, along with the Bass Tilt and Desktop Control, both used for bass attenuation, making it perfectly adaptable to any smaller-to-medium sized environment.
