The xmax from Elysia is a masterbus mid/side multiband compressor that takes your tracks to the next level with precision dynamics control and excitingly rich saturation. Perfect for both studio mixing and mastering as well as in front of house set-ups, the xmax offers superior audio quality with a transparent sound, bringing the best out of any music. Featuring low, mid, and side bands, the xmax helps you create a controlled stereo image, centering low frequency information and giving you detailed control over dynamics and tone between mid and side bands. The included soft clipper is taken from Elysia's rich alpha compressor, driving signals without clipping the converters to deliver the ultimate analog coloration.

Across its panel controls, the xmax gives you a versatile set of tools to shape your master or any stereo source. Set threshold independently for each band, and explore different gain settings for each. The crossover filter between low and mid bands is adjustable, and along with the optional lowmono switch, provides exceptional low end control to keep your audio full and balanced without the muddy rumble. The time control sets a smart release time for each compressor, dynamically adjusted for optimal behavior in each band. Each band can also be blended or linked with the varilink control, letting you dial in the precise amount of separation for your needs.
