Electronic Audio Experiments Dagger
The Dagger is a distortion from Electronic Audio Experiments born from an attempt to shrink their beloved Longsword pedal, which imparted a similar-yet-distinct overdrive that is absolutely lovely. A streamlined gain stage with two-band shelving, the Dagger has less headroom than the Longsword allowing the two EQ controls to break up the output for a nice fuzz. Use the Shift switch for a tick, rich sound or a tighter sound. Volume and Drive controls work as expected, but if you want an overdrive that is more than expected in a compact package, the Dagger from Electronic Audio Experiments is a finance choice.
