HammerOn is the latest DigiTech pedal to employ their powerful pitch-shifting prowess, offering creative instrumentalists an abundance of ways to get creative with musical ideas that would otherwise be impossible to play. In its most basic mode, HammerOn can be an instantaneous pitch shifter, transposing your instrument up or down a pre-defined musical interval. But thanks to a number of additional features and modes, HammerOn can mimic arpeggiators, sequencers, and beyond. Trill mode allows you to dial in faster note changes than you could ever press with your feet. This can be used in tandem with the Impossible mode, which allows you to alternate between different pitch shift intervals. Or dive into Sequence mode to fire off phrases of up to five notes, extending what you can execute on your instrument into far-out sonic territories.
