Daking Comp IIT

The Comp IIT from Daking is a professional grade analog compressor that builds on the design of their Comp II, adding coveted custom Cinemag transformers on both the inputs and outputs to provide a slight yet desirable analog coloration to your signal. Handmade and with fully balanced I/O, the Comp IIT is a powerful dynamics managing tool, equally at home in tracking and mastering duties. Most 1U dual channel compressors will have a shared set of four or five controls for both channels, but the Comp IIT proposes a compelling alternative: it offers only two knobs per channel, each of which can be thought of as macro compressor controls: "amount" sets the effect of the compression from subtle to brickwall effects, while "output" sets the overall level post-compression. These knobs are complemented by four buttons that address specific behaviors such as ratio and speed, allowing you to set up rapid-fire compression settings and A/B your dynamic effects with ease. Lest its relatively "simple" interface decieve you, the Comp IIT is in fact quite a powerful, deeply intuitive tool for shaping your project's dynamics with character and efficiency.
