Behringer Powerplay P16-M

The Behringer P16-M is a 16-channel digital personal monitor mixer that's great for dialing in an individual mix onstage or in the studio. The 16 audio channels use Behringer's ULTRANET technology and are transmitted via CAT5e. When used in conjunction with a P16-D, up to 48 P16-Ms can be daisy chained together.

The 24-bit D/A converters allow for fantastic audio quality and latency under 1ms. Channels can be selected by button and feature level, pan, mute, and solo controls, plus a three-band EQ with mid-band frequency control. The main volume sets the overall level, plus a panic mute mode is accessed by pressing the encoder in. Channels can be linked for stereo pairs or grouped which is useful for example to control all the drum mics at once. An adjustable limiter on the master channel makes sure nothing in the mix gets too out of hand. Store 16 presets of grouping, linking, and mix settings and recall on the fly. The MIDI input allows you to control it with an external MIDI device. Listen to your mix in headphones or take the mix out to a powered monitor.
