The Behringer EDGE is a semimodular drum and percussion synthesizer with integrated dual sequencer, enabling dynamic drum patterns with a robust analog tone. Two VCOs offer rich pulse waves and smooth triangle waves, with both oscillator sync and frequency modulation options to provide a vast timbral range. A white or pink noise source adds a crucial element to snare and cymbal synthesis, which can be mixed with the oscillators and shaped using the multimode 24dB resonant ladder filter. This flexible filter offers both low and high pass options, with the potential for modulating filter cutoff with noise to create complex timbral changes.

Three dedicated delay envelopes add that classic sweep to pitch, filter cutoff, and amplitude for comprehensive drum designing. Program beats using the two 8-step sequencers, with a wide tempo range that extends well into audio rate.
