Behringer 1003 Dual Envelope Generator
Bringing together two four-stage envelopes into one package, the ARP 2500-inspired 1003 Dual Envelope Generator from Behringer provides two contoured control voltage signals that vary over time. Each envelope has their own controls for attack, initial decay, final decay, and sustain level, from 0–10V.
The two envelopes, labeled L and R, each have two outputs, a positive and negative, which can each be sent to their own destination. The envelopes can be initialized from external gate or trigger signals or the manual push buttons. There are two gate modes, Single and Multi. In Single mode, the 1003 only uses the input gate signal to control the envelope. In Multi mode, as long as the gate signal is high at the input, the trigger inputs at the input will retrigger the envelope, resetting it each time (sometimes referred to as a "retrigger" mode). Straightforward and easy to use, this dual envelope is great for contouring CV signals for VCAs or VCFs.
