ART's Tube MP/C is a professional quality tool for a variety of audio engineering and sound recording applications. In essence, it is a combination of vacuum tube preamplifier and an optical compressor/limiter. Tube MP/C features both balanced XLR, and 1/4" Hi-Z inputs, as well as transformer isolated balanced and unbalanced outputs. While the preamp can certainly deliver clean and uncolored sonic results, it also makes it extremely easy to add that desirable tube warmth that often comes at a much greater cost. The compressor is designed around a vactrol-based circuit to deliver the most musical results.
