ART Pro MPA II Microphone Preamp

The ART Pro MPA II is a two-channel mic preamp with integrated vacuum tubes and VU metering. The discrete class-A preamps feature +48V phantom power on both inputs. It can be used in dual mono or stereo modes and has selectable mid/side support, decoding of left/right signals, and summing of the channels. The inputs have variable input impedance from 150 ohms to 2400 ohms, which can be used for a variety of microphone configurations. The two built-in 12AX7 vacuum tubes can operate in either low or high plate voltage, which impart a different tone and response to the input signals. Additional tone adjustment can be made using the high pass filters on the inputs. The preamps have vintage-style VU metering and the tubes have a tube warmth LED meter. The ProMPA II brings the warmth of tubes to your rack gear, it sounds great and is a great choice for any recording project.
