The 512v is an all-discrete 500-Series microphone and line preamp with a XLR + 1/4" combo jack on the front panel for quick connection with a range of microphones and line- or instrument-level sources. Boasting the same op amps that grace each API preamp from the small yet mighty 312 to their legendary Vision console, the 512v has the specs and the sonics to bring a variety of sources into conversation with your modular or mobile recording rig with API's highly-regarded warmth and clarity.
