ALM Busy Circuits MFX Pedal
Escaping the rack and landing on your pedalboard for the first time, ALM Busy Circuits presents the MFX Pedal, a stellar multi-effects pedal based on their Eurorack module of the same name. In the Eurorack world, MFX has gained fame for its variety of effects algorithms, covering reverbs and delays inspired by early digital units to current-era granular and glitch effects. These 18 different effects engines are enhanced with new features in the MFX Pedal, such as MIDI capabilities, Expression pedal support, and more.
With stereo audio I/O, the MFX Pedal is ready to process guitars, synthesizers, sub-mixes, or anything else you might want to run through it. Assignable input signal levels allow you to dial it in properly for your particular case, while an optional 10dB analog gain stage can be used to lift up particularly low-level sources. A clipping LED indicator is also on hand to make sure you don't take things too far.
Like the Eurorack module, the MFX features a simple button and encoder interface to scroll through parameters. A and B knobs allow you to adjust parameters manually on the spot, with the ability to also establish remote control via MIDI CCs or Expression pedals. Tap Tempo or MIDI Clock sync allows you to lock time effects into your band or other synchronized devices. If you're looking for a different flavor of multi-effects for your pedalboard, give the MFX Pedal a shot and see why Eurorack folks love the ALM stuff.

Inspired by our favourite classic hardware effects processors, the MFX incorporates DSP effect technologies from the dawn of digital effects in the 70s to the present day. Reshape sounds with the distortion and dynamics engines. Bend time space and pitch with multiple feature rich reverb and delay engines. Modulate signals with the flexible panner, frequency shifter, and range of ensemble effects. Fracture sounds with the one of a kind granular and glitch engines.
Available for the first time outside of modular, the MFX pedal easily brings the character and uniqueness of ALM effects to your guitar rig, DAWless setup, mixer effects send or synth collection.

Here we demo a variety of the MFX Pedal's engines using a Jazzmaster plugged into a Fender 68' Custom Deluxe Reverb and mic'd with an SM57.
