Vortex Wireless 2 from Alesis is an intuitive MIDI controller in keytar format. Inherently ergonomic, Vortex Wireless 2 is also housed inside a durable enclosure that’s sure to withstand copious punishment. Compared to its predecessor, 2 incorporates greater ergonomics and a comprehensive control layout. It connects wirelessly to a computer for easy integration with VSTs and more. This connection is facilitated by a compact USB dongle (compatible with Mac and PC).

Vortex Wireless 2 features a 37 note keyboard with velocity sensitivity and aftertouch. There are also 8 backlit drum pads and 8 backlit faders for an authentically hands-on performance. Additional conveniences include several neck controls that open the door to entirely new forms of expression. Controls include a MIDI-assignable touch strip, MIDI-assignable acelerometer, octave range buttons, and active sustain. All of this combined with USB-MIDI and MIDI Out jacks make Vortex Wireless 2 a force to be reckoned with.
